This year we are honoring Miry Whitehill, Founder, Miry's List, a non-profit organization that has provided a mechanism for people to directly help new arrival refugee families with the challenge of resettlement in the United States.  These families come to the United States seeking a safe haven from violence and persecution in their home countries.  Let's help put the word out and support this worthwhile organization by attending our Friendship Tea.  At the same time, you can decorate a table and invite your family, friends and neighbors so pass the word out to them. Come and start your Holiday season with the Women's 20th Century Club on Saturday, Dec. 2nd, doors open at 7 p.m., program starts at 7:30 p.m., followed by dancing. . Enjoy a Holiday Program performed by Theatre Americana performers while having a cocktail. The show features an opening waltz to a contemporary number by a well-known artist into a classical piece.  Theatre Americana's holiday programs mix traditional Christmas carols, along with songs that send the message of joy, love and peace performed by our stunning vocalists. It's just a wonderful way to usher in the holidays. Don't forget to bring an unwrapped toy for a girl or boy . The post-show opens the dance floor for our audience with the Lumina Academy dance team dancing to Quizas, Quizas, Quizas by Los Panchos - audiences are welcome to dance to music from all genres, including Pop, Country, Big Band, R & B and Salsa.
